Sales Director Position at IROC Technologies

IROC Technologies is a leading provider of reliability and functional safety products and services for the semiconductor industry.

Our company is looking for a talented and experienced director of sales to lead our sales department. We need a self-motivated professional with proven managerial experience and an outstanding track record in sales. In this position, you will be responsible for meeting our annual sales targets within assigned regions and accounts.

Job Description

The director of sales will be responsible of managing all sales operations. Talented in negotiation and marketing, their job Scope includes building sales strategy, drafting sales reports, meeting sales targets, and estimating sales profit for products.  Responsibilities are extended to driving partnership and business growth with distributors (& representatives) in their designated geography, managing distributor performance to achieve annual sales targets, developing trust and strong partnership with distributor, but also end customer to ensure sustainable long-term growth.

Mission

  • Managing Sales operations and implementing strategic business planning
  • Developing world-wide sales strategy
  • Recruit, enroll, manage, animate and motivate distribution channel using standard channel management tools/skills
  • Engage, promote to end users to drive direct/indirect sales and build strong and long-lasting customer relationship
  • Achieve sales targets and present forecasts
  • Deploy sales channel mindshare tool (sales/product education)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate staff to improve customer service with clients
  • Design and implement strategic plans to reach sales targets
  • Cultivate lasting relationships with customers to grow customer loyalty
  • Develop and promote weekly, monthly and quarterly sales objectives
  • Draft detailed and accurate sales reports
  • Work with customers to better understand their business needs and goals
  • Assess costs, competition, and supply and demand to identify selling prices
  • Estimate sales volume and profit for current and new products
  • Establish a sales training program to train new employees
  • Manage distributors and representatives to assess company performance

Skills And Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in a similar role in the semiconductor industry
  • Experience in selling Reliability, Soft-Error-Rate, Functional Safety products and services is helpful
  • Knowledge of technological manufacturing processes, ASIC design & testing, fault simulation, design verification is a plus
  • Knowledge of JEDEC JESD89*, ISO 26262, IEC 61508 standards is a plus
  • Proven experience in closing deals with large companies is a must
  • Ability to deliver high-level technical presentations on IROC offering (after training)
  • Familiarity working with estimating and bid proposals preferred
  • Good English and French is a must
  • Knowledge of salesforce.com is a plus
  • Team player with a professional customer-focused attitude; ability to clearly report to management and prepare meaningful feedback to the technical team
  • Able to manage multiple timezones
  • Conducts outbound warm and cold-calling campaigns and maintains positive, periodical contact with the customers
  • Likes to synchronize constantly with the team
  • Knows how to maintain confidentiality and isolation between the customers information, needs and requirements
  • Must be able to prepare high-quality and error-free business documents (such as quotations, statements of work) without any confidentiality issues
  • Able and willing to review technical documents such as reports and deliverables before release to customers

Travel

Limited travel for dissemination (conferences, tradeshows) or on-site customer visits
