We believe that every modern chip should have the suitable level of reliability throughout its life time.

IROC Technologies helps the semi-conductor industry to evaluate and manage reliability risks through the design and manufacturing flow, while keeping design, manufacturing, testing and qualification costs as low as possible.

With the introduction of deep submicron technologies in the semiconductor industry, chips are becoming more vulnerable to reliability-threatening effects. IROC Technologies provides chip designers with analysis software, services and expert advisors to improve a chip’s reliability and quality.

Reliability will inexorably decrease through the lifetime of the components and systems. IROC provides design services and IPs to mitigate the impact of external and internal perturbations, reducing significantly the risk of expensive recalls, time-to-volume slow-down, and product problems in the field.

IROC Technologies has been launched in 2000 as a spin-off of the French National Center for Scientific Research – CNRS (Centre national de la recherche scientifique).

The wholly owned subsidiary IROC Technologies Corporation has been established in the USA in 2001.

IROC Technologies is a SME-sized company with a strong focus on R&D: more than half of IROC’s engineers are PhDs.
